J. Brad Wilke (@jbwilke) is a co-founder and principal of Smarthouse Creative. Brad holds an MBA from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business, a Master of Communication in Digital Media from the University of Washington's Department of Communication, and a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Brad designs and executes digital, social media, and film distribution strategies for Smarthouse’s clients. Brad is also the co-founder of livestream platform Wonderstream, tech nonprofit Flash Volunteer, an adjunct lecturer in digital marketing & film, as well as an award-winning filmmaker, produced feature-length screenwriter, and artistic director of the Portland Film Festival.
Ryan Davis (@indieartsvoice) is a film publicist and communications professional with ten years experience in the film industry and arts marketing. She is co-founder and Principal at Smarthouse Creative. Named by Media Inc. as one of Washington State's most influential women in film, TV, and media, Ryan has worked with outlets ranging from CNN and The New York Times, to community newspapers and local radio. She has worked in almost every aspect of the film business--from production and festivals to distribution, exhibition and sales.
Ryan worked for Arab Film Distribution/Typecast Films where she was part of the production and release of the Academy Award-nominated Iraq in Fragments. She has worked for a variety of nonprofit arts groups and organizations, including heading the marketing departments for Northwest Film Forum and Northwest Folklife, and was the assistant director of Couch Fest Films from 2010-2014. Ryan was on the jury for the International Documentary Challenge for 2012-3, and a juror for the 2015 Seattle Shorts Festival.
Rachel Green is a performance and artistic director (Rachel Green) with a strong interest in social justice. She received her bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Washington where she conducted undergraduate research with professor Gray Lock studying the relationship between art and technology in urban environments. Following graduation she volunteered with organizations including the International Rescue Committee, Washington CAN, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and received training in Restorative Justice.
Recently, Rachel was the co-director and performed in, "I Want to Hear the Sea" at On The Boards (2017) and the writer/director in, "Signal," a multi-media production installed and performed as part of "Duwamish Revealed 2015." She has also volunteered and worked at Seattle arts organizations On The Boards, 4Culture, and the Northwest African American Museum, and is the co-founder of performance collective Earth and Ceremony.
Amie Simon (@posiegirl) has 12+ years of marketing experience as a content strategizer, creator, and copywriter for social, web, and print. She knows the ins-and-outs of campaigns, taglines, brand voice, social media, community building, targeted ads, and #squadgoals.
Amie’s loved film ever since she saw an Imperial Star Destroyer loom across the UA 150 screen in 1977 and has applied that love to Seattle’s ThreeImaginaryGirls.com since 2009, leading TIG’s film festival coverage and obsessing over which movie soundtracks are the best. She also slays at ‘80s trivia.
Jessica Marx (@jessicamarx) is a seasoned entertainment public relations and digital marketing professional with over ten years of combined in-house, agency, and consulting experience. She has worked on projects ranging from big-budget studio films to DIY indies, and everything in between.
Jessica has a B.A. from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a concentration in Entertainment Business. She's also the great-granddaughter of Groucho Marx, so knows from funny.

Craig Downing (@craigdowning) has produced internationally recognized films for a variety of clients. Craig was the director of the film department at Iceland's Sagafilm, where he supported feature-length productions (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty), music videos (Björk--Mutual Core), television (HBO's Game of Thrones), and commercial productions (Subaru). Craig has also produced social impact documentaries for NGOs in regional "hot spots," including Haiti and Central America.
Most recently, Craig has produced commercial content for Amazon, Lonely Planet, The Discovery Channel, and the Seattle Department of Transportation. Craig also serves as the festival director for Couch Fest Films, curates films for the website Short of the Week, and is a short film programmer at the Seattle International Film Festival.
Kris Kristensen (@scotopiapix) is an award-winning filmmaker who has worked in both long & short form, as well as narrative & non-fiction. After spending time in Los Angeles following film school, Kris moved to Seattle and formed a film/video production company, Scotopia Pictures. Under this banner, and as a freelancer, Kris has done work for television (A&E, MTV, PBS, HBO/Cinemax), feature films (Elixirs & Remedies, Inheritance), music videos (Grant Lee Philips, Brent Amaker), and commercials (Visa, Xbox, Papa Murphy's).
Kris is also president and co-founder of the Seattle arts nonprofit, 20/20 Awards, which critically re-evaluates the Oscars with 20 years of hindsight, complete with new nominees, a new vote, a weekly podcast, and a fresh batch of awards. And Kris still finds hope for humanity in Linus' speech at the end of A Charlie Brown Christmas.
